Care work and domestic labour is the main theme of this episode of Conversations with IRiS. Our guests are two scholars who have investigated closely the intersection of gender and migration for many years.
Nina Sahraoui is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Paris Centre for Sociological and Political Research (CNRS) and Associate Researcher to the Chair of Exile and Migration at the Collège d’études mondiales, FMSH in Paris. Her book “Racialised Workers and European Older-Age Care” was published by Palgrave in 2019. Sabrina Marchetti is Associate Professor in Sociology of Cultural Processes and Communication in the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage at the University Ca’ Foscari in Venice and PI of an ERC Starting Grant entitled “DomEQUAL: A Global Approach to Domestic Work and Social Inequalities”.
